WEST LAFAYETTE, IN - The Wright State women's track team competed in their first indoor meet of the season on Saturday at the Purdue Invitational. The meet had no team scoring, but the Raiders performed very well in their first competition of the season.

The Raiders posted a trio of top-five finishers, led by sophomore sprinter Tiffany Brigham. Brigham posted a third place finish in the 60 meter dash, posting a time of 7.94 seconds, and then placed third in the 200 meter dash in a time of 25.55 seconds.

Jennifer McWhinney placed fifth in the 60 meter hurdles in a time of 9.73 seconds. The freshman also placed 11th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 26.60.

The Raiders will next be in action on Friday, January 18 at the Cedarville Invitational.
