It is our hope that during your time at Wright State University, you maintain a successful and injury free career. However in competitive athletics, injuries do occur and that is where we step in.

Staff members of the Athletic Training Department at Wright State University are all nationally certified and state licensed allied health care providers in athletic training. Our training includes injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation techniques and skills. We serve as the initial contact between the student athletes and the team physicians in regards to injury management. It is imperative to report any and all injuries to the athletic training staff, which can then provide appropriate care. The athletic trainers also schedule physician appointments, medical tests, and procedures for the injured student athlete, often for the same day.

We hope that all of our student athletes have a successful and enjoyable experience while attending Wright State University and it is our goal to provide the best possible care for any medical issues that may arise during this time.
