Megan Watson joined the Wright State athletic staff as an academic advisor in January, 2008. Watson came to WSU from Cincinnati, where she was an academic advisor for two years.
Watson, who worked with several sports at UC, including football, will work closely with all Raider athletes, specifically men's and women's basketball. Working with head academic advisor Judy Chivers, Watson will track and monitor the academic progress of student-athletes, meet with prospective student-athletes and evaluate transcripts.
A 2000 graduate of Truman State University with a degree in communications, Watson received her master's degree in kinesiology (sport management) from Texas A&M in 2003. While at A&M, Watson served as an academic advisor and also assisted the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) as a co-advisor.
