Julie Owen, formerly of the athletic compliance office at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, is in her first year as the Director of Compliance for Wright State University Athletics.

Owen, a 2007 graduate of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, worked at UWGB during the 2006-07 school year and boasts experience with the Sun Belt Conference, Utah Starzz of the WNBA and Wake Forest University athletics.

The Neenah, Wisconsin, native heads up the Raiders compliance office to ensure proper NCAA guidelines have been met for the student-athletes and coaches.

Owen also holds a master's degree from Ohio University and received a bachelor's degree in economics from Colorado College.
