Alumni Field was dedicated in the Fall of 1999 through the generous donation of the Wright State University Alumni Association . Since then, it has acted as the home field for the men's and women's soccer programs at Wright State as well as the site for many high school and semi-pro games. In November, 2000, Alumni Field will host the Midwestern Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer Tournament as well.

With the addition of lights, the field ranks among the best in the MCC as well as the Midwest with its near-perfection playing surface, state-of-the-art water and drainage system and seating up to 1,000. Plans are under way to add other amenities to yet improve the fine facility.
